2. Right of Access

You have the right to request access to your personal data. This includes:

  • Confirmation that we are processing your data
  • Access to your personal data
  • Information about how we use your data

We will provide this information free of charge within one month of your request.

3. Right to Rectification

If your personal data is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to have it corrected or completed. We will respond to rectification requests within one month.

4. Right to Erasure (Right to Be Forgotten)

You have the right to request deletion of your personal data in certain circumstances, including:

  • The data is no longer necessary for its original purpose

  • You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds
  • The data has been unlawfully processed

5. Right to Restriction of Processing

You have the right to request restriction of processing your personal data in certain situations:

  • When you contest the accuracy of your data
  • When processing is unlawful but you don't want the data erased
  • When we no longer need the data but you need it for legal claims
  • When you have objected to processing pending verification

6. Right to Data Portability

You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another controller. This applies when:

  • Processing is based on consent or contract
  • Processing is carried out by automated means

7. Right to Object

You have the right to object to processing of your personal data in certain circumstances:

  • Direct marketing (including profiling)
  • Processing for scientific, historical research, or statistical purposes

8. Rights Related to Automated Decision Making and Profiling

You have the right not to be subject to decisions based solely on automated processing, including profiling, which produces legal effects or similarly significantly affects you. Preve Excellence does not engage in automated decision-making or profiling.

Lawful Basis for Processing

We process your personal data based on one or more of the following lawful bases:

  • Consent: You have given explicit consent for processing for specific purposes
  • Contract: Processing is necessary for performance of a contract with you
  • Legal obligation: Processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations
  • Legitimate interests: Processing is necessary for our legitimate interests (which do not override your fundamental rights and freedoms)

Data Breach Notification

In the event of a personal data breach that is likely to result in a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify you without undue delay and within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, as required by GDPR.

Data Transfers Outside the EEA

When we transfer your personal data outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards are in place, including:

  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission
  • Adequacy decisions by the European Commission
  • Other legally approved transfer mechanisms

Withdrawal of Consent

Where we process your data based on consent, you have the right to withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

We will respond to your request within one month. In complex cases, we may extend this period by two additional months and will inform you of the extension and reasons.

Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe we have not handled your personal data in accordance with GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. For EEA residents, this is typically the data protection authority in your country of residence or workplace.
